Your Vote is the Change!

Hi everyone! Hoping you have a good closing of the semester, I want to open a little to the debate with my last blog of the subject... Last Sunday in our country the elections for president, senators, deputies and CORES were held, who will be in charge of directing, administering and legislating the country in the coming years. We all know the results of that day, Sunday, November 21... results that, in my opinion, are worrying and alarming for the new Chile that we want to build on the basis of the New Constitution. The figures of Gabriel Boric and José Antonio Kast have led Chile to polarize into two ideological currents, where the vast majority have had to make an important decision regarding who they believe is the most capable and fit to govern and lead the country in the that we are. is it so. are. Live. As a future public administrator, the outcome of the December 19 elections will largely shape my future as a professional and the scenario in which I will function as a public se...

I'm Batman! (insert hoarse voice)

Hi everyone! Today I come to tell you about my favorite movie and character since I have memory... Batman! Since I was little, I always liked this character very much, what he represented, the story behind him and best of all... he was a human like anyone, with a lot of money and training of course jajaja. The fanaticism for Batman grew more and more with each comic I read about him, but director Christopher Nolan's Batman movies came to change everything! I remember when the first movie of this trilogy came out, "Batman Begins", I couldn't stop watching it over and over again on DVD. I bought the album, the toys, the posters, everything. But my favorite movie of all time, the one that I can see a thousand times and never get tired of repeating the dialogues (because I learned the dialogues jajaja), is the second part of this trilogy, "Batman: The Dark Knight". Without making major spoilers of the film for those who have not seen it, in this installment, Bat...

"Gobernando ando" ;)

Hi everyone! This week I will talk about a possible continuity of studies in my career in Public Administration... The truth is that since I entered the University I have wanted to be able to do a master's degree at the end of my training process as a public administrator. The problem is that I am passionate about various subjects related to my career, which makes choosing a specific master a bit difficult. Researching for this blog, I realized that the vast majority of master's degrees are based on the development of public policies or public management, and although they are relevant and interesting topics to know in depth, they do not totally attract my attention, because I feel that something else is missing... It is within this search, where I found a master's degree from the North Catholic University, focused on Public Policy and Territorial Governance. This master's degree focuses on a multidisciplinary training to address the design, elaboration and implementati...

An all-terrain Public Administrator

Hi everyone! Today I come to tell you about my future aspirations as a next public administrator... Me disguised as Batman, ready to fight government corruption The truth is, with the passing of the semesters at the university, every time I visualize myself doing different activities around my profession, some more focused on the field of management, others on the development of public policies, and even conducting research and university classes on some theme of my interest. For this reason, I have different aspirations, depending on whether they are short, medium or long term. In the first place, in the short term I see myself obtaining my university degree as public administrator, with which I would rather start looking for work in a municipality in the country, seeking to generate more direct contact with citizens and put into practice the knowledge acquired in management, in order to generate more work experience, which allows me to access new jobs. In addition to this, I would li...

My little Coco

Hi everyone! Today I come to tell you about my little pet ... my guinea pig named Coco!! My pet is a guinea pig, known in Chile as "Cuye", she is female and very playful, a bit curmudgeonly, but she loves to be talked to and caressed, especially on the head. My brother called her Coco the day she came to our house, when she was only two months old. Coco will be three years old on April 4, 2022. I always remember the date and the face of joy and excitement that my brother had when he arrived. At first she took a long time to get used to us, because she was a wild guinea pig that my cousin found on a hill in the Peñaflor commune. Over time, she got used to the food and the presence of my family. The only thing that still costs a lot from her is to let them take her in her arms, she does not like to be touched by her paws, that's when she despairs and gets angry. She has a dificult temper jajaja Finally, what Coco likes the most is eating. As soon as he hears someone enter t...

Silver or Lead ?

Hi everyone! In this blog I'm going to talk about my favorite series: Narcos This Netflix series is great, it has action, a story based on real events, with historical content from Colombia in the 80s and 90s, unexpected alliances and excellent and endearing characters. I remember that I began to see it in 2016, on my birthday, exactly one day before the second season of the series came out. The truth is that I did not expect much from this series, but it caught me from minute one. The story begins with the Medellín Cartel, under the command of Pablo Escobar, in its full height and power. From chapter one they show us the greatest rise of the "Pattern of Evil" and the subsequent descent of him, all this throughout the first two seasons. On the other hand, in the third season, DINA agents begin to dismantle the other cartel present in Colombia, the Cali Cartel. This season is not as exciting as the first two, but it is a good closing to the story told, in addition to layin...

The Dream of Returning...

Hi everyone! In this blog I come to tell you the best vacations of my life... These vacations were in January 2019, where with several classmates and teachers from the school, we decided to go on a mission to a town called Rilán, located in Chiloé. That year was the second time that we went to visit, share, work and help the children and families of that small town. I think I have never felt so comfortable and grateful to be in a place where I was a stranger, because all the people in that place opened their doors for us, shared their food with us and were interested in knowing our reality. Although we were going to perform a service in this place, there is not a day that we have not enjoyed, laughed and even moved and cried with joy and happiness. Chiloé is truly a magical place that I hope everyone can visit even once in their life. Despite this, our tour did not end there, having raised enough money during the year, we had the possibility to go on vacation later to a town called Ens...
